Since 2004
Punjab's pharmaceutical industry moved its labels here
In the early 2000s Tur introduced rotary flexographic printing to Pakistan and became the principal producer of roll-form, multi-colour, in-line die-cut labels for much of Punjab's pharmaceutical industry. Their cartons followed.
Roll-form changed what was possible: continuous production, in-line die-cutting to shape, and inspection for registration and colour accuracy on the same pass. For a regulated product, the inspection is the point.
