Tim Hortons chose Lahore
When Tim Hortons prepared to enter the Pakistani coffee market it needed a packaging partner capable of meeting RBI's benchmarks without exception. After extensive evaluation, Tur was selected — and remains sole supplier of its food-grade takeaway packaging nationally.
Meeting the standard meant investment, not paperwork: hygiene-controlled production environments, stringent colour-fastness protocols and certified ink safety systems, all implemented at the Lahore facility. Every process from material handling to final print was aligned to RBI's compliance framework.
Because the certification covers the portfolio, it carries to Burger King and Popeyes as well.

Forty years of it
It started with KFC
Tur entered food packaging through a strategic alliance with KFC Pakistan, producing structurally integrated paper-based takeaway packaging nationwide — plates, bags, boxes, clamshells and butter papers.
National QSR service required capability the building did not have, so plate-making was brought in-house. The same pattern as every other machine bought here: a limitation identified, then removed.
In 2008 Hardee's approved Tur as a food-grade vendor — the approval issued from Franklin, Tennessee. Every major QSR brand to launch in Pakistan since has worked with this floor.

PPWR is already here
The EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation applies from 12 August 2026. All packaging entering the Union must meet recyclability and harmonised labelling requirements, and PFAS limits apply to food-contact packaging — including packaging imported from third countries.
